Review: The Davenports by Krystal Marquis

The author did an exceptional job of immersing the reader into this world of black excellence and opulence! I love this style of writing getting the perspectives of different characters to drive the story forward. It was refreshing despite the storyline getting a little predictable towards the end. I’m looking forward to seeing what’s in store for these characters, and hope for a good plot twist to spice things up.
