Tender Is the Flesh by Agustina Bazterrica definitely lived up to the hype of being disturbing and gut-wrenching right up to the last page. I had to take breaks while reading just to process the heinous acts detailed in this story. I do wish it had delved a bit deeper into the dystopian aspects of the world, but overall, it was a decent read.
